We want to welcome you to the Bible Baptist Church web site. The Bible Baptist Church is an old-fashioned, historical, Bible-believing Baptist Church. We believe the Bible is the Word of God and it is our only rule of faith and practice. The Bible teaches us that our purpose as a church is "A great commitment to The Great Commandment and The Great Commission."

The Great Commandment that Christ gave to His church is, "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind." Mt. 22:37. Jesus also commanded His church, "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen." Mt.28:19-20

We endeavor at the Bible Baptist Church to grow in love with the Lord Jesus Christ and lead the lost to Christ, see them baptized, added to the church and then discipled in the Word of God!

As a New Testament Church we seek to minister to children, teens, singles, and families. If you live nearby or have recently moved to our area, or if you are planning to visit our area on business or vacation, we would enjoy a visit from you. We are located on Rt. 1 directly across from the Wiscasset Ford dealership. The church is located at 143 Beechnut Hill Rd.
